2020-2021 

The selection year for the Class of 2021-2023 lasted from August 2020 to July of 2021.

In this period, UWC Macedonia raised 15,603 USD from donations throughout a promotional campaign, as well as parental contributions.

The donations were used for operational expenses, including organising the selection process, as well as subsidizing 7 incomplete scholarships. For promotional expenses, UWC Macedonia used 560 USD throughout the selection year.

To support students without full scholarships in the class of '21, UWC Macedonia used 4,928 USD for the 2020-2021 school year.

To support students without full scholarships in the class of '22, UWC Macedonia used 3,598 USD for the 2021-2022 school year.

To support students without full scholarships in the class of'23, UWC Macedonia used 8,958 USD in the 2021-2022 school year.

The remaining funds were used on transaction costs.

2019-2020 

The selection year for the 2020-2022 cohort lasted from August 2019 to July 2020.

In this period, UWC Macedonia raised 10,135 USD through corporate and small donations. A single donation from a private donor made up most of this amount. 

The donations were used for organising the selection process, promotion and for supplementing three partial scholarships to enable three more candidates to attend a UWC. 

UWC Macedonia set aside 412 USD for promotion and 1,262 USD for organising the second round of the selection process. 

For the first scholarship, UWC Macedonia set aside 3,403 USD (for one academic year). For the second scholarship, UWC Macedonia set aside 4,635 USD (for one academic year). For the third scholarship, UWC Macedonia set aside 361 USD (for one academic year).

The remaining funds were spent on transactional costs.

2018-2019 

The selection year for the 2019-2021 cohort lasted from August 2018 to July 2019.

In this period, UWC Macedonia raised 10 250 USD through corporate and small donations. A single donation from a private donor made up most of this amount. 

The donations were used fully to supplement two partial scholarships to enable two more candidates to attend a UWC. Thanks to these funds, the Macedonian National Committee successfully nominated eight instead of six candidates for the 2019-2021 cohort at UWC.

For one scholarship, UWC Macedonia set aside 2 805 USD (total amount for both academic years).
For the other scholarship, UWC Macedonia set aside 7 247 USD (total amount for both academic years).

The remaining 198 USD were spent on transactional costs.
